The Deepwater Horizon / BP Oil Spill was capped in late July and the subsequent clean-up efforts continue to go very well. Our beaches and water are looking better and better with each passing day. As well, the swimming advisory for our beaches was lifted. And, on August 16, the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources re-opened all state waters to recreational fishing.
Less and less clean up workers are being seen and more and more guests are returning to our beaches. That is all great news.
