Security Deposit: Security deposits vary by property, so please refer to the property listing. The security deposit is due and payable upon making a reservation. You may pay your security deposit via VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. If deposit is paid by check, ALBVR must receive check within seven (7) days of making said reservation. If check has not been received within seven (7) days, such reservation will automatically be cancelled.
Your security deposit shall be applied to your rent, unless paid by check. A check will be held for fourteen (14) days after departure in the event of a remaining balance or unit damage. Credit card numbers will be held for fourteen (14) days after departure in the event of a remaining balance or unit damage. If any damages occur, they will be itemized and billed to your credit card or deducted from your check. If damage exceeds security deposit, you will be billed for said difference. If there are no damages credit card numbers are removed and checks are returned via U.S. mail.
Rental Payment: Full rental payment shall be due and payable thirty (30) days in advance of check-in date.
Cancellation: We require at least a 30-day cancellation notice for condominium rentals and at least a 60-day cancellation notice for home rentals prior to your arrival date. Monthly rentals require at least a 90-day cancellation notice. If less than required notice is given, the security deposit will be held for lost rent, unless the unit is rebooked for the same amount and rental period. If notice is given within the cancellation period, the security deposit less a $25.00 reservation fee shall be returned.
Changes to reservations occurring less than the stated minimum days required above shall result in the security deposit being held for lost rent, unless the unit is rebooked for the same period.
Sorry, there are no refunds for late arrival or early departure.
Hurricane Cancellations: We will refund any portion of your stay if you have to cancel or evacuate due to an impending hurricane. The storm must be a named hurricane (i.e, hurricane category 1 or higher). Any refunds will be prorated, based on the time that you have spent in the property. Refunds will only be given if the governmental authorities issue a voluntary and/or mandatory evacuation order for named hurricanes approaching the area. Still, we realize that each storm is unique and will consider each case individually. Please note bad storms, bad weather or a tropical storm is excluded from this paragraph. If you choose to cancel for any other reason, your security deposit will be forfeited unless equivalent revenue is generated for the same time period.
Rental Periods: The rental periods vary by property, see property listing. Some properties accept daily, weekly and monthly rentals.
Rental Occupancy: The number of people allowed to reside in the property varies by property and shall not be exceeded, please refer to property listing. No house parties are allowed. Singles must be 25 years of age or older. A parent must accompany singles younger than 25 years of age*. All rules and regulations at each property must be strictly observed. Any reservation made under false pretenses will result in forfeiture of advance payments and the party will not be permitted to check-in or may be forced to evacuate property immediately and no refund will be issued. *Identification must be furnished upon request.
Parking: Parking varies by property, please see property listing. However, for the most part, you are limited to two (2) parking passes for condominiums, houses vary.
Quiet Enjoyment: Guests shall respect the surrounding accommodations and maintain a quiet environment. If you are reported to being disruptive, you may be forced to evacuate and will result in forfeiture of advance payments and loss of security deposit.
Damages: Each guest will be financially responsible for damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Furnishings: Please do not transfer furnishings of any kind from one property to another. Also, please do not rearrange furniture during your stay. Loss to these items, as well as damage to the unit or furnishings in excess of normal wear will be charged to the guest.
If you require special appliances or equipment, please bring them with you.
Linens: A luxurious supply of linens is provided. All properties will have 200+ thread count, 100% Egyptian cotton sheet sets and 100% Egyptian cotton type towel sets. Bed linens and bath towels are not changed during your stay. There is a washer and dryer in the property for this purpose or an exchange for additional clean linens is available through ALBVR for a nominal fee. The startup set of bath soap, toilet tissue, trash bag and dishwasher detergent are not replenished. If any of the linens disappear after your stay you will be charged to replace the linens. If you like them so much and want some of your own, ALBVR will be happy to order them for you at cost.
Maintenance: Please report any malfunctioning equipment or damage immediately to ALBVR. Every effort will be made to correct the situation as soon as possible. The repairman may enter the premises for purposes related to the repair or maintenance of the property. Basic equipment can be found in the condo (i.e., toilet plungers, light bulbs).
Grilling: Fire Department regulations prohibit use of grills on all decks, porches and balconies. Some properties have areas for grilling, refer to property listing.
Pets: Sorry, no pets are allowed. A pet or evidence of a pet found on premises will cause forfeiture of entire rent and security deposit.
Smoking: No smoking is allowed inside the property. Evidence of smoking inside the premises will cause forfeiture of entire rent and security deposit, plus any additional damage the smoke may have caused. If you need to smoke, go outside and make sure all the doors are shut to the unit.
Check-In: Check-in time begins at 3:00 PM CST. ALBVR may offer a priority arrival time at a nominal fee if you would like to check in early. Please contact ALBVR for more details. Check-in instructions and details will be sent to you upon receipt of rental payment.
Check-Out: Check-out by 11:00 AM CST. Please abide the check-out time. If you stay past the check-out time, you will be charged a nominal fee and up to an additional day based on amount of time and shall depart immediately upon the cleaning team’s arrival. Check-out instructions and details will be sent to you upon receipt of rental payment.
Keys to Property: Upon arrival to property you will receive two (2) sets of keys via a secure door lock system. Both sets of keys shall be returned to the lockbox upon departure. If both sets are not left upon departure you will be charged a nominal fee for the loss of such key(s).
